The European Athletics Championships has come to an end with a strong medal count for the Joma federations: 44 medals in total with Italy leading the podium. The brand has broken records by winning the most medals, even doubling its competitors.
The last stop before the start of the Olympic Games has ended: the European Athletics Championship 2024. From June 7 to 12, Joma athletes have been demonstrating all their potential at the continental event held in Rome, where Italy itself has reached the top of the podium, proclaiming itself European champion. The #JomaTeam adds another milestone to its history after an impeccable performance.
This European Athletics has been especially exciting due to its proximity to the Olympics. However, the Joma federations have shone completely and have shown to be at the highest level of elite athletics, breaking a record of medals. And most notably, Joma has shined as the brand that has won the most medals, doubling other competitors, something that will go down in its history. Nothing more and nothing less than 44: 19 golds, 18 silvers, and 7 bronzes. The victory of Italian athletics with Joma equipment has added prestige to the brand, which is already a reference within the sports market of this discipline. FIDAL has won 24 medals, standing out in speed and endurance, as well as in jumps and throws.
On the other hand, Spain and Ireland, two of the federations sponsored by Joma, have finished the European Athletics Championship in the top 10. Spain opened the gold count with Ana Peleteiro’s medal in triple jump. After adding another gold and a triple in silvers and bronzes, they have positioned themselves in 8th place in the final medal table. Meanwhile, Ireland closes the top 10, with 2 golds and 2 silvers.
