Croatia survived in the European Handball Championships thanks only to the first surprise of the Wednesday evening, when Norway defeated France to book the first semi-final ticket of the group.
In the other side, Joma’s team had to beat Poland by at least eleven goals, and they did it! Croatia won to Poland 37-23.
The 15,000 Polands fans had to see how the Croatians won this crucial match and reached a place in the semi-finals.
Furthermore, Germany edged out Denmark 25-23 to secure its qualification in the other group, while Spain beat Russia. Croatia will face Spain while Norway will be up against Germany in the two semi-finals on Friday (January 29).
