Joma and CD Leganés launch the second kit with which the pepineros will face the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
For the 2024/25 season, CD Leganés has opted for green, one of its distinctive colors that characterizes it the most for its history, as the protagonist of its second kit. Since 1993, the Club has worked with Joma, wearing their garments, thanks to a sponsorship agreement that, despite some interruptions, has been a beneficial relationship for both. The brand’s commitment to offering the best quality in its materials to athletes and thus enhancing their performance on the field has prevailed at all times.
The creation of this kit is the result of the close collaboration between the club and the brand. The uniforms feature their characteristic green as a tribute to their traditional nickname “pepineros”. Thus, the kit not only captures the essence of the club, but also incorporates a renewed and elegant design, made with recycled fabric.
The club’s crest is embroidered to give a more sophisticated touch to the jersey. It also includes the small legend “X ANNIVERSARY 22-06-2014” next to a graphic, located in the chest area and, next to the legend, which alludes to the iconic bicycle kick by Carlos Álvarez. This printing legend pays tribute to the team of the 2023/24 season for their promotion to the Second Division, which allowed them to make their way into the world of professional football.

As part of the 10th Anniversary of the promotion to the Second Division, CD Leganés seeks to honor the team from the 2013/14 season, and especially Carlos Álvarez’s winning goal.
That bicycle kick marked the beginning of their journey in La Liga and led the team to promotion; therefore, the kit from that time has been redesigned. The new jerseys have replaced the sublimated design that included the “J” of Joma on the chest, with a graphic that pays tribute to the player’s bicycle kick.
Furthermore, the green color that characterizes the pepinero club has been maintained, as a reminder of the year they made their way into the world of elite football.

Most of the brand’s kits are already made from this fabric. It is made from recycled sources, mainly PET bottles, which are converted into raw material. This reduces CO2 emissions by 75%, avoids the use of petroleum, and reduces plastic pollution on the planet. This allows the product to be labeled as ECO.
